Asus X79 Deluxe 32Gb Ram with GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST. It always gets stuck at TmSafetyNet.kext. I have tried all boot flag combos still can’t pass it to setup screen.

My 2 840 evo SSD’s read time keep slowing down in time. If I c/p a freshly written file from one SSD to the other, read/write times are normal. But with files a few months old, AJA shows read times as low as 65MB/s.
This is specific to those Samsung SSDs. I also have 2 smaller M4 installed with no such problems.
AHCI on, trim on, no filevault, no spotlight indexation, no sleep, lots of free space available on the SSDs.

I understand what you mean concerning software tricks, although I would be amazed if they could prevent such degradation over time as far as reading times are concerned?

Hi, I did an installation on an X79 deluxe and all been well. Im running mavericks 10.9.2 and have no reason to update. My question is that I installed this on a pc that already had a ssd with windows and I installed it on another ssd just for mac. I have to use the flash drive to boot every time even after doing changes on bios. It always tries to boot windows first. Can you recommend me a method or bootloader that will give me the option to upload the different OS at startup? I will also like to add Ubuntu in the future so any help or direction in this matter will be appreciated. I havent tried any of the sound solutions for this motherboard since I have a focusrite pro 40 as a soundcard thru a TI firewire card and it works perfect. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your fast response. I will check the post install guide. The reason I have not updated is that some of the music software that I use is not working 100% with the updates and some of them not even with maverick so Im waiting for some more stabiliy on those apps. Also I read here that if I update I have to reset or re intall some kexts and frankly I dont know how to do some of that stuff yet. Im waiting for a new hardrive that match my main mavericks drive to make a proper time machine backup before changing anything . Thanks , Ill chime in again if I can not get the multiboot after the post install guide.
ok.. i went to the post install section of the method I used(MyHack) and this is the same method I normally use to boot in, using the myhack usb. I may have stated my question wrongly.What I want is to be able tohave a boot menu without having to use the myhack usb and simply choose from that menu on the start. Actually when I use this post install method I dont have to enter flags,. I just choose the myhack usb dirve and then the dirve where Mavericks is installed and it boots fine. I would just like to not have to have that usb connected all the time. Sorry if Im doing something wrong here. I would like just a general bootloader at the beggining that allows me to choose what is installed or even add new os’s without anything plugged in like a usb. Thanks again.

I ran again the chameleon bootloader and tried to install the ethernet option but to no avail. Where can I re-activate it?Thanks.
I did a different route for installing mavericks using unibeast. I assume following your guide for my board will still work for the kexts. When following the read me in the dmg there is no “kexts” folder under the files folder. It only has the manufacture names, power management and tools.
I got a fully operational hackintosh now but I ended up finding my own route. your instructions did not line up with the dmg provided. It does not matter how I got Mavericks on here when your instructions are faulty.
Hi, I did an installation on an Asus Rampage iv formula and everything works great. After 2 days i tried to get system sleep without success, sometimes system sleeps and wakeup sometimes cant sleep (monitor goes powersaving mode, hdds shutsdown but system stays alive and frozen) also the same happens on shutdown & restart but in random times. sometimes works sometime dont.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your reply, my problem isn’t the sleep only but whole shutdown function, the system cant shutdown. I cant restart,sleep or shutdown, system stop signal to monitor, power off usb devices and hdd’s and after that system freeze.
That problem happens 60% of shutdowns-sleep-reboot, sometimes shutting down sometimes freeze, sometimes restarts sometimes not.
if you have any idea of that (i don’t want direction only ideas for what is responsible )
Nevermind, problem solved, its a efi driver (CsmVideoDxe-64.efi). i dont know how installed that driver in clover but after removed reboot/shutdown/sleep works all the time.

I am using MOBO P9X79 LE with CPU i7-3820 and GPU GTX-550ti. Using your SSDT and SSDT-1 (for CPU 3820), my speedstep seems not to be effective. It only shows 2 steps:
Moreover, it seems that I have to use NVIDIA kext and boot with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, which changes your org.chameleon.Boot.plist to have my GPU accelerated. If not, my hackintosh only boot with resolution 1024×768.

I have a couple of issues with my hackintosh running Yosemite, immediate reboot after sleep and no sound after that reboot. While looking for answers i came across your site and I have a couple of questions.
– I have a sabertooth x79 Rev.1, is it safe to use your sabertooth x79 Rev.2 ssdt?
– the ssdt.aml goes in to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched? should the ssdt be renamed to ssdt-1.aml ?
– in your clover installation setting (image 1) you didn’t check to RC scripts, I did, could this be the problem?
Version 2 not rev and that has nothing to do with your board. Its the version of the ssdt. Reinstall and follow my guide and only use my files i provide on the dmg. Last i do not support sleep but sjould work.

System X79-Deluxe with E5-2697 v2 processor and EVGA GTX 760 and Nvidia GTX 770 graphics cards
Actually they do load and sometimes they don’t. I see this message GeForce Sensors Waiting for Acceleration in verbose mode. If I se the message once it never loads but if I see the message about 3 times it finally loads. I see this happen in all my systems with Clover but the GPU sensors always load. Is this a clover bug maybe? What application are you using to view temps voltages speedstep etc? Thanks
I have an intel 3930k with Asus P9X79 Pro Board. I have tried loading the GenericUSBXHCI.kext to get the USB3 Ports working but haven’t had any luck. I also cannot manage to get sleep working. Any suggestions? Also cannot mange to detect bluetooth using the kext provided in the dmg. I am running BIOS 4801.
Hello. Is the Nvram on the Asus X79 Deluxe physical ram and if so I have to assume we use terminal commands for it to remember the nvram settings or do we have to boot into UEFI shell and send a nvram command from there? If not then do we need to install RC scripts from Clover Installer to remember nvram settings?
Is it possible that the Native unpatched Yosemite AICPUPM kext can work fine with this board or it has to have the one you supply? Can I ask what if this is patched for Locked bios MSR lock patch or its patched by you specifically for other needed things if you want to mention what they are? Is it possible with Bios 0701 the MSR is not locked and when I update to 0902 it will be locked and will need the patched kext?
Also when I flash 0901 bios firmware will the SSDT’s change or does the DSDT/SSDT rarely change when you update Bios?
There was changes with driver in 10.9.5+ that do not alloe the gpu to display anything after boot. I have a idea what it is but its low on the priorities atm. End of the month will be doing a huge overhall of the dmg and documentation.
OK. So look at the Install Guide provided here on my site and forget that other horrid and broken method ever exists. Also if you mix my files with theres your system may become broken.

I followed your guides – installed osx and I ran the x79dsdt dmg. followed also every step. I couldn’t find a “config file” in the efi mount (inside the clover folder) there is only a file named “config.plist” – do you mean that one? But how should I install this?

Config File is that. IE a file called Config. Your over thinking this and if you looked at the file on the DMG and in that location on the EFI drive this would be apparent.

but i cant get it to boot from my prepared OS X Yosemite.My clover usb boots well and there is a beautiful welcome screen wishing me a merry Christmas,i go to options,boot flags and i enter this ‘-v npci=0x2000’ for lga 2011,then i hit enter to boot from mac os x but it keeps restarting back to clover menu.I’m simply beaten,spent too much money trying to make a hackintosh but it seems i’m not all that good,i need your help please,take me through my bios setting and what i need to do to be able to install.

Just Delete it and rebuild caches. It is only for TimeMachine.
does usb 3 work by default on maverick on Asus Rampage IV Extreme x79?

Pease follow the DMG post install and it will work with the kexts provided on the DMG.

No DSDT. Realtime injection of SSDT, so you don’t need to worry about BIOS updates… But all this is in “readme” files… so… 🙂

I only buy the Samsung Pro’s but it seems that TRIM on the drive you are using is not working correctly.

Because that slot needs to be hard coded like it is for Slot One in my SSDT…

Remove the Nvidia drivers from the USB installer and use the Retail Drivers post install.

Your failing to install the boot loader to your Mac drive as per the read me on the DMG.

I do not support sleep due to may hardware issues that effect sleep mainly USB devices.

You need GE=Yes for that GPU and do not use MSR Dumper… use Intel Power Gadget to see CPU changes.

Hi, I’m currently running on X79-Deluxe 701 bios, which is PM unlocked. Does anybody know if 902 bios is unlocked as well ?
You can always roll back using USB Flash back if it causes any issues. It should be unlocked as that board never had it locked.

They load here and i have 760 -780 and titan here for various tests.
Actually they do load and sometimes they don’t. I see this message GeForce Sensors Waiting for Acceleration in verbose mode. If I se the message once it never loads but if I see the message about 3 times it finally loads. I see this happen in all my systems with Clover but the GPU sensors always load. Is this a clover bug maybe? What application are you using to view temps voltages speedstep etc? Thanks

I have an intel 3930k with Asus P9X79 Pro Board. I have tried loading the GenericUSBXHCI.kext to get the USB3 Ports working but haven’t had any luck. I also cannot manage to get sleep working. Any suggestions? Also cannot mange to detect bluetooth using the kext provided in the dmg. I am running BIOS 4801.
Try the BETA kext on the DMG in the BETA folder.
Also I do not support sleep but the SSDT does patch for Sleep. If Sleep does not work its something you have installed Hardware related.
Yup I have tried that one and no luck. I will try remove some hardware and debug my sleep issue like that.
Hello. Is the Nvram on the Asus X79 Deluxe physical ram and if so I have to assume we use terminal commands for it to remember the nvram settings or do we have to boot into UEFI shell and send a nvram command from there? If not then do we need to install RC scripts from Clover Installer to remember nvram settings?
Is it possible that the Native unpatched Yosemite AICPUPM kext can work fine with this board or it has to have the one you supply? Can I ask what if this is patched for Locked bios MSR lock patch or its patched by you specifically for other needed things if you want to mention what they are? Is it possible with Bios 0701 the MSR is not locked and when I update to 0902 it will be locked and will need the patched kext?
Also when I flash 0901 bios firmware will the SSDT’s change or does the DSDT/SSDT rarely change when you update Bios?

For the clover config, are we not using mac pro 6,1 anymore? I noticed it is using 5,1.
There was changes with driver in 10.9.5+ that do not alloe the gpu to display anything after boot. I have a idea what it is but its low on the priorities atm. End of the month will be doing a huge overhall of the dmg and documentation.

OK. So look at the Install Guide provided here on my site and forget that other horrid and broken method ever exists. Also if you mix my files with theres your system may become broken.

i got a prob:
I followed your guides – installed osx and I ran the x79dsdt dmg. followed also every step. I couldn’t find a “config file” in the efi mount (inside the clover folder) there is only a file named “config.plist” – do you mean that one? But how should I install this?

Config File is that. IE a file called Config. Your over thinking this and if you looked at the file on the DMG and in that location on the EFI drive this would be apparent.

-Asus rampage iv extreme
-intel 4820k
-amd hd 7950 and 5970 graphic cards but i’m booting with 7950
but i cant get it to boot from my prepared OS X Yosemite.My clover usb boots well and there is a beautiful welcome screen wishing me a merry Christmas,i go to options,boot flags and i enter this ‘-v npci=0x2000’ for lga 2011,then i hit enter to boot from mac os x but it keeps restarting back to clover menu.I’m simply beaten,spent too much money trying to make a hackintosh but it seems i’m not all that good,i need your help please,take me through my bios setting and what i need to do to be able to install.
